Scrippets
As an avid reader of John August’s blog, I finally installed his nifty little Scrippets plugin and thought I’d take it for a spin.
JENNY and her IMAGINARY FRIEND sit, discussing the Scrippets plugin for Wordpress.
JENNY
Looks pretty good to me, so far.
IMAGINARY FRIEND
Impossible to tell at this point. You’ll have to post it, check it out, come back and edit it and then decide whether or not you want to recommend it for your writer-readers.
JENNY
Or my readers who enjoy quoting lines from dramatic texts...
IMAGINARY FRIEND
Won’t quotation marks suffice?
JENNY
Not for my truly dedicated readers.
IMAGINARY FRIEND
Just... go check it first.
The verdict? Fabulous! An absolutely marvelous little plugin. As a stickler for formatting, my anal retentive side is truly sated by this wonderful little bit of code. I highly recommend it. You can download it by visiting this page and clicking the big orange DOWNLOAD button. It’s available for other blogging platforms as well, but if you’re not using a self-hosted blog, you can simply use the handy little Scrippets Maker that allows you to cut and paste code into your CSS editor.
JENNY
So, there you have it.
IMAGINARY FRIEND
Yes, everything turned out all right in the end.
JENNY
Told you so.
THE END
